Booking & Cancellation Policy

Deposits requirements

LOW Season: $300 deposit required upon booking.
SPECIAL EVENTS: $500 deposit required upon booking.
LONG TERM WINTER Bookings: $500 deposit required upon booking

EASTER BOOKINGS: $500 deposit required. If all or part of your reservation is over the NSW and QLD school holidays the following deposit applies.

  • For re-bookings, $100.00 part-deposit is required at time of booking (before departure), with the balance of the deposit due by July 31st. *
  • Balance of the Total Booking is due two weeks prior to arrival
  • For new bookings, full deposit payment is required at time of booking.

SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER HOLIDAY BOOKINGS: $500 deposit required. If all or part of your reservation is over the NSW and QLD School holidays the following applies.

  • For re-bookings, $100.00 part-deposit is required at time of booking (before departure), with the balance of the deposit due by February 28th. *
  • Balance of the Total Booking is due two weeks prior to arrival
  • For new bookings, full deposit payment is required at time of booking.

CHRISTMAS/NEW YEARS BOOKINGS: If all or part of your reservation is between December 20 and January 26 inclusive, the following deposit requirement applies.

  • For re-bookings, $100.00 part-deposit is required at time of booking (before departure), with the balance of the deposit due by March 30th. *
  • 50% of the total booking fee is due by October 1.
  • Remaining balance is due two weeks prior to arrival
  • If making your reservation after October 1, 50 % of the total booking is required at time of booking.

COOLYROCKS: $500 deposit required.

  • For re-bookings, $100.00 part-deposit is required at time of booking (before departure), with the balance of the deposit due by September 30th. *
  • Balance of the Total Booking is due two weeks prior to arrival
  • For new bookings, full deposit payment is required at time of booking.

* If the Full deposit is not received by this date, your booking will automatically be cancelled & the part-deposit paid, is forfeited.

Cancellations

WE RECOMMEND THAT COMPREHENSIVE TRAVEL INSURANCE BE TAKEN OUT TO COVER FOR ANY UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

Should you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing to mail@columbiaapartments.com.au

All cancelled bookings incur a $45 Administration Fee in addition to the following:

For bookings 28 nights and under.

  • If cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival, deposit will be refunded less 20% fee.
  • If cancelled within 14 to 30 days before arrival, total deposit will be forfeited.
  • If cancelled within 14 days or less before arrival, total deposit will be forfeited and Guest will be liable for the full payment if the apartment is not re-booked.
  • Where Guests neglects to pay the monies when owed, Columbia Apartments reserves the right to deem this as a cancellation and cancel the booking.
  • Alterations to the booking prior to the planned date of arrival (such as shortening the length of stay, altering the booking arrival date or booking departure date) will be treated, as a cancellation as above and a new booking will be re-quoted and issued.
  • There will be no refund for early departure or non-arrival.
  • Bookings made with an Online Travel Agency – Cancellations are as per original booking, please consult your booking agent for the Terms & Conditions set at the time of booking.

For bookings 29 nights or more.

  • If cancelled 60 days or more prior to arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total amount will apply.
  • If cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the total amount will apply.
  • Where Guests neglects to pay the monies when owed, Columbia Apartments reserves the right to deem this as a cancellation and cancel the booking.
